Description: Hetrick-Martin Institute is looking for passionate, engaging math tutors to help our students sharpen their study skills, review core high school subjects and get comfortable asking for help.

The HMI High School Equivalency Program helps LGBTQ youth who are not currently enrolled in school to obtain the equivalent of a high school diploma and, subsequently, to gain employment or begin postsecondary education or training.


  • Work one-on-one or in small groups with students on high school math.
  • Help foster a safe environment for students to learn.
  • Review and strengthen core math skills


  • Available at least 1 day a week from 1:30 pm to 3:30 pm and then be available for fall schedule of Weekdays 4pm- 7pm.
